Every spring the Norman Children's Chorus sponsors an all day music for kids event for members and other students in grades four through six who are recommended by their teachers.

The mission is to provide a gift to the music teachers who work with students every day, training and inspiring them and to provide a festival for students who may be interested in becoming members of Norman Children's Chorus.

The annual Spring Sing features a nationally known guest artist/composer. The singers in the 150 voice choir rehearse, learn new music and prepare for an afternoon children’s concert while their music teachers are treated to a lunch roundtable with the guest and a reading session.

Spring Sing is for students in grades 4-6. Past guest conductors have included Nick Page, Dr. Angela Broeker, Dr. David Brunner, Emily Ellsworth, Francisco Nunez and Janeal Krehbiel.

Spring Sing is partially funded by the Oklahoma Arts Council.
